Suzuki Ryohei’s blog post on 8 June, 2018

Good evening, I’m Suzuki Ryohei.

Today I went to do 『Hitsuji to Hagane no Mori』 opening day stage greetings!

Took a photo with everyone to mark the occasion.

Really, it’s a wonderful movie.

A story of the growth of a young piano tuner in the north.

The sceneries, dialogues, sounds, of this movie.

For sure, no matter what situation you are in, it gently pierces the core of your body, and you should be able to find that something that will stand the test of time.

Also, the pamphlet of this movie has been really beautifully made.

Me too,

I want to become this kind of person.

「少しは甘えているようでありながら、きびしく深いものを湛えている人間」[Romaji: Sukoshi wa amaeteiru youde arinagara, kibishiku fukai mono wo tataeteiru ningen] [Admin note: Taken from the second para of the above image, which are from Hara Tamiki’s literary work “Flower of the Desert”. In the movie, when Tomura asked Itadori-san what kind of sound he’s aiming for, Itadori quoted Hara Tamiki’s words in the above image. It’s difficult to translate properly so I shall not attempt lol~)

Ah,

Indeed movies are really good.

Well then let’s meet in the theatres.

See you. [Admin note: he wrote it in Hokkaido dialect.]

With lead actor Yamazaki Kento-kun.
