Gekijou is released in Japan today and is already available on both Amazon Prime Video Japan (Japanese & English CC subtitles) and Prime Video (Japanese, English, English CC, French, Korean & Traditional Chinese subtitles). Here’s my earlier tweet and links.

  1. Watched it. Have to say it was not my favourite Saturday-evening mood, since the movie had a quite depressing atmosphere most of the time, but it was again (as expected from Yamazaki) excellent acting. I bet Kento-kun was all too happy to once more escape his handsome goody image and take on a role of a kind of shabby looking, struggeling character. He threw himself into that role. That movie is still working in me and that´s a very good sign. I wish we had more opportunites like this to watch brandnew Japanese movies effortlessly via Amazon Prime or Netflix. Thanks again Mich for reminding us of where and when to find this goody ^-^.
