From the official JoJo twitter, stage greetings on 5 August, 2017 have been decided to commemorate the release of the movie.

The movie opens on 4 August, 2017. I’m not sure why there aren’t any stage greetings on the opening day…or do they have some other plans for that day…

  1. didn’t even finished reading the post yet but that “I’m not sure why there aren’t any stage greetings on the opening day” was exactly my first thought. also why isn’t there some early premiere event in japan? Tokyo Ghoul had it’s japan premiere already weeks before the nationwide release….

the whole promotion for Jojo is strange anyway like the misleading photoshot with Nana Komatsu when Yukako is actually Yandere for Koichi o _ O

    1. Yeah… maybe they have some other plans for opening day, or maybe cos it’s a friday so they decided to push it to the weekend instead (usually Kento’s movies open on a saturday). Or maybe it’s simply due to schedule issues of the cast? Anyway, JoJo’s japan premiere will be held on 26 July =)

As for the Kento/Nana photoshoot, i think it’s perfectly fine yo. They need not be romantically linked in the show to have a photoshoot off screen. Plus, I really like how they look together ^ ^ Am looking forward to the So-en shoot too!

      1. yeah but people who DON’T know Jojo don’t get that and think there will be some Nana romance and i can’t blame them. looking at previous duo shots with Tao, Suzu, Fumi, Mirei they where always his love interest. that’s why it’s misleading :/
Yukako had barly any scenes in the movie and she didn’t even interacted with Josuke. all her scenes are with Koichi.
